Repeat Prescriptionsorange_pills

Patients on long-term medication will receive a “tear-off” slip with each prescription, listing the repeat medication.  Please check the items carefully to ensure they are correct.  When you need a repeat prescription you should return this slip to the surgery indicating the items you require.  Please enclose a stamped addressed envelope if you wish your prescription to be posted to you (in which case allow at least one week).  Requests can also be made by telephone, quoting the items required.

Alternatively you can now order online by following the link at the top of this page and completing a simple one-off registration.

Pleqase note prescriptions will not be given to children under 16 years

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account. Please also ensure that at holiday times you arrange for your repeat prescription in ample time.
